you have to ignore the extremists on both sides

someone sent this blog post to the london linux users group mailing list. it’s a bit frighteningly uninformed to say the least. i find the comment about his i.b.m. laptop a little strange since it was mostly likely built in china. unless, of course, it’s ancient. the site seems so generally crazy that you wonder if it’s really a democrat trying to make republicans look like a bunch of nationalist wackos.

they had another story about atheists that’s pretty funny too. the video with kirk cameron is ridiculously uninformed. a banana? really? are they just going to ignore every other fruit? i usually associate bananas with monkeys so i guess he’s really saying he believes in evolution.

on a lighter note, here’s a shakespearean insult generator.

Hmmm, it is amazing what is not just posted to the web but actually published. (I really didn’t read the publication.)

i don’t understand the connection between the post and the bird population pdf?

OMG! I couldn’t even make it through the whole Linux is cancer article. It’s like other startling situations I’ve had in the past, where you can’t even figure out how to say anything. It’s like trying to start a conversation with with someone where there’s no language in common. The only point I can see is that if Steve Balmer says it’s cancer, he ought to know, as he himself is a cancer that’s much more disruptive than just a single technology.

i’m not quite sure how anyone can refer to steve balmer as a “leading computer expert”.

the more i see it, i just have to figure it’s a scam/troll. they, of course, need your money in donations to help fight whatever is killing america. they probably just figure that the kind of people that would agree with that stuff are easy marks.
